IRS Swapnil Patil appointed PS to MoS Kamlesh Paswan

IRS officer Swapnil Patil (IRS-IT:2011) has been appointed as Private Secretary to Kamlesh Paswan, Minister for State for Rural Development. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (06.08.2024), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Patil to the post from the date of assumption of charge of the post and for the period up to 09.08.2027 (i.e. for balance period of his five years central deputation tenure) or on co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
