IRS officer Sukant Vatsa (IRS-IT:2013) has been appointed as Private Secretary to Kirti Vardhan Singh, Minister of State for Environment, Forest & Climate Change and External Affairs. His appointment is specifically pertains to Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change. He will assume his role at Deputy Secretary level.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (05.08.2024), competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Vatsa to post for a period upto 24.07.2028 or on co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary, to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
