The Central government on Monday (August 12, 2025) appointed Taruli Dilip Bhavsar (IRS-IT:2015) as Deputy General Manager (Level-13) in the Tribal Co-Operative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED), Mumbai (Maharashtra Region), under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the competent authority approved her appointment at the Deputy Secretary level on deputation basis for a period of four years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The appointment is to a Non-Central Staffing Scheme (Non-CSS) post, and Ms Bhavsar will be relieved from her current duties immediately to take up the new assignment.
As DGM of TRIFED Mumbai, she will lead initiatives to empower tribal communities through marketing support, value addition, and trade facilitation. TRIFED’s mandate focuses on the socio-economic development of tribals by institutionalizing the trade of Minor Forest Produce (MFP) and Surplus Agricultural Produce (SAP) collected or cultivated by them.
