IRS officer Heera Lal Appointed as Deputy Secretary in D/o Higher Education

IRS officer Heera Lal (IRS-C&IT:2015), who was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Revenue, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the D/o Higher Education, Delhi, for four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (September 29, 2025), Mr Lal will serve in the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of three year from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
