IRS officer Mahesh Gopinath Jiwade (IRS-IT:2007) has been appointed as Private Secretary to Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy for five years. His appointment as PS is specially pertains to Ministry of New & Renewable Energy.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (13.08.2024), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Jiwade to the post for five years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary, to the Ministry or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Mahesh Gopinath Jiwade will assume the charge of the post at Director level.
