IRS officer Garima Sharma (IRS-IT:2012), who was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Revenue, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, Delhi for four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (13.08.2024), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Ms. Sharma to the post under the central staffing scheme for period of four years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
