The central government has empanelled and promoted 20 officers to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes (C&IT) in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) against the panel years 2022 (Supplementary Panel) and 2023 (Regular Panel) on regular basis.

Their regular posting will be decided in due course with the approval of the Competent Authority. Till then, they shall assume the charge of the promotional post on in situ basis.
