IRS-C&IT: 10 officers promoted to Chief Commissioner/Director General grade

The central government has empanelled and promoted 10 officers to the grade of Chief Commissioner/Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes (C&IT) in the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes) for panel year 2023.

The names of these officers are as follows:

1. Upendra Gupta
2. Satyendra Kumar Singh
3. J R Panigrahi
4. Rajeev Jain
5. V Usha
6. Manoj Kumar Arora
7. Satendra Vikram Singh
8. Ravinder Saroop
9. S Faheem Ahmed
10. Vivek Chaturvedi

Their regular posting will be decided in due course with the approval of the Competent Authority. Till then, they shall assume the charge of the promotional post on in situ basis.
