The central deputation tenure of Vipul Aggarwal (IPS:2001:GJ) as Principal Commissioner in the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has been extended for two year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (01.04.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs to extend the deputation tenure of Mr Aggarwal for a period of two years beyond March 15, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Aggarwal has been serving as Principal Commissioner in DDA since March 15, 2024, with an initial tenure set to last until March 15, 2025. He was brought on central deputation in February 2020 as Deputy CEO (Director level) in the National Health Authority (NHA) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare for a five-year term. In March 2024, he was shifted to DDA.
