IPS officer Shilpa Dyavaiah (IPS:2016:KL) has been appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on March 28, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the induction of Ms. Dyavaiah into the CBI for a period of five years from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders whichever is earlier.
