IPS officer RP Meena’s central deputation tenure curtailed as JS, D/o Social Justice & Empowerment

Ram Prasad Meena (IPS:1993:AM), who was serving as the Joint Secretary in the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, has had his central deputation tenure shortened. This decision was made following his appointment as the Additional Director General in the Border Security Force (BSF). As per the order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (16.09.2023), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given its approval to the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment’s proposal to curtail Mr. Meena’s tenure as Joint Secretary in their department.
