IPS officer Harsha Vardhan (IPS:2012:AGMUT) has been appointed as Superintendent of Police in the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a period of five years.
According to an order issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (07.05.2025), the competent authority has approved Mr. Vardhan’s induction into the CBI on deputation basis. The tenure will be for five years from the date he assumes charge or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
Currently, Mr. Vardhan is serving as Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Central Delhi.
