IPS officer Manoj C (IPS:2011:AGMUT), who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been selected for appointment as Director in the Election Commission of India (ECI), Delhi, for five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (29.05.2025), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr Manoj to the post under central staffing scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
