IPS officer K M Mallikarjuna Prasanna (IPS:2000:MH) has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in National Investigation Agency (NIA). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Friday (June 27, 2025), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr Prasanna to the post on deputation basis.
