IPS Imtiaz Ismail Parray appointed as DIG, SSB

Imtiaz Ismail Parray (IPS:2009:AGMUT) has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) for a five-year term. This appointment has been authorized by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) through an order issued on Wednesday (October 4, 2023). Mr. Parray will serve in this capacity on a deputation basis for five years, starting from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further instructions are issued, whichever comes first. Currently, he holds the position of DIG Training at the Police Headquarters (PHQ).
