IPS Deepali Masirkar appointed Director in M/o Tribal Affairs

IPS officer Deepali Masirkar (IPS:2008:NL), currently serving as Director in the Election Commission of India, has been transferred to Ministry of Tribal Affairs as Director on lateral shift basis. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (07.01.2025), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the recommendation of Civil Services Board (CSB) to laterally shift Ms Masirkar in the Ministry of Tribal Affairs for a period upto 03.05.2027 (i.e. balance period of her five years tenure at Director level under central staffing scheme) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
