The deputation tenure of Sumit Kumar (IOFS:2012) to Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has been extended for period of one year. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on 28.06.2024, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Department of Defence Production to extend the deputation tenure of Sumit Kumar for one year. Presently, he is serving as Secretary to MCD Commissioner Ashwani Kumar.
