Indian Railways appoints 32 new DRMs across various zones

In a significant administrative reshuffle, Indian Railways on Thursday (July 24, 2025) transferred and appointed 32 senior officers as Divisional Railway Managers (DRMs) across various zones.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Vinod Kumar (IRSE), presently on deputation with RLDA, has been posted as DRM/Danapur/East Central Railways. He replaces Jayant Kumar Chaudhury (IRSE).
2. Divyakant Chandrakar (IRSE), NFHAG/Central Railway, has been posted as DRM/Trivandrum/Southern Railway. He replaces Manish Thapliyal (IRSME).
3. Sangrah Maurya (IRSE), NFHAG/ Northeast Frontier Railway, has been posted as DRM/Moradabad/Northern Railway. He replaces Rajkumar Singh, (IRSEE).
4. Kirendra Narah (IRSE), NFHAG/ South Eastern Railway, has been posted as DRM/Katihar/Northeast Frontier Railway. He replaces Surendra Kumar (IRSEE).
5. Om Prakash Meena (IRSE), NFHAG/Eastem Railway, has been transferred and posted as DRM/IVIadurai/Southern Railway. He will replace Sharad Srivastava (IRTS).
6. Balak Ram Negi (IRSE), NFHAG/ Northern Railway, should be transferred and posted as DRM/ Tiruchchirappalli/Southernn Railway vice M S Anbalagan (IRSS).
7. Ravi Kumar Gupta (IRSE), NFHAG, presently working as Chairman/RRB, Chandigarh, has been transferred and posted as DRM/Adra/South Eastern Railway vice Sumit Narula (IRSME).
8. Pankaj Tyagi (IRSE), NFHAG/Railway Board, has been transferred and posted as DRM/Bhopal/West Central Railway. He will replace Devashish Tripathi (IRSME).
9. Gagan Goyal (IRSE), NFHAG/North Western Railway, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Agra/North Central Railway. He will replace Tej Prakash Agarwal (IRSEE).
10. Pradeep Kumar Mohanty (IRSE), NFHAG/East Coast Railway, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Alipurduar/ Northeast Frontier Railway vice Amarjit Gautam (IRAS).
11. Aswani Srivastava (IRTS), NFHAG, presently on deputation with Department of Food & Public Distribution, should be posted as DRM/Samastipur/East Central Railway vice Vinay Srivastava (IRSME).
12. Ved Prakash (IRTS), NFHAG/Railway Board, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Ahmedabad/Western Railway. He will replace Sudhir Kumar Sharma (IRSS).
13. Madhukar Roat (IRTS), NFHAG/North Western Railway, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Palghat/Southern Railway. He will replace Arun Kumar Chaturvedi (IRSE).
14. Alok Tripathi (IRTS), SAG/Railway Board, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Khurda Road/East Coast Railway. He will replace H S Bajwa (IRTS).
15. R Gopalakrishnan (IRTS), SAG/South Central Railway, should be posted as DRM/Secunderabad/South Central Railway. He will replace Bhartesh Kumar Jain (IRSE).
16. Karuna Nidhi Singh (IRTS), SAG/Western Railway, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Ranchi/South Eastern Railway. He will replace Jasmeet Singh Bindra (IRTS).
17. Vishal Kapoor (IRSME), NFHAG/Central Railway, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Howrah/Eastern Railway. He will replace Sanjeev Kumar (IRSE).
18. Ravi Jain (IRSME), NFHAG/Railway Board, should be transferred and posted as DRM/ Jaipur/ North Western Railway. He will replace Vikas Purwar (IRSME).
19. Lalit Mohan Pandey (IRSME), NFHAG/RCF, should be transferred and posted as DRM/ Kharagpur/South Eastern Railway vice K R Chaudhary (IRSE).
20. Jayant Kumar (IRSME), NFHAG/Railway Board, has been transferred and posted as DRM/Asansol/Eastern Railway vice Chetra Nand Singh (IRSEE).
21. Anirudh Kumar (IRSME), NFHAG, presently on deputation with Warehousing Development & Regulatory Authority under Department of Food & Public Distribution, has been posted as DRM/ Jhansi/ North Central Railway. He will replace Deepak Kumar Sinha (IRSSE).
22. Amit Saran (IRSME), NFHAG/Northern Railway, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Sonpur/East Central Railway. He will replace Vivek Bhushan Sood (IRSE).
23. Anil Siddhartha (IRSEE), NFHAG/ICF, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Rangiya/Northeast Frontier Railway. He will replace Neeraj Gupta (IRSSE).
24. Mohit Sonkiya (IRSEE), NFHAG/RWF, has been transferred and posted as DRM/ Vijayawada/South Central Railway. He will replace Narendra Anandrao Patil (IRTS).
25. Punit Agrawal (IRSEE), NFHAG, presently on deputation with NHSRCL, has been transferred and posted as DRM/Bhusawal/Central
    Railway. He will replace Ms. Ity Pandey (IRTS).
26. Sanjeev Kumar (IRSSE), NFHAG/Railway Board, has been transferred and posted as DRM/Ferozpur/Northern Railway. He will replace Sanjay Sahu (IRSE).
27. Shailendra Singh (IRSSE), NFHAG/South Central Railway, has been transferred and posted as DRM/ Chennai/ Southern Railway. He will replace Eerya Bhukya Vishwariath (IRSE).
28. Gaurav Govil (IRSSE), NFHAG/IRISET, has been transferred and posted as DRM/Bikaner/ North Western Railway. He will replace Ashish Kumar (IRTS).
29. Dinesh Verma (IRSSE), NFHAG/RDSO, has been transferred and posted as DRM/Bhavnagar/Western Railway vice Ravish Kumar (IRSME).
30. Giriraj Kumar Meena (IRAS), NFHAG/North Western Railway, should be transferred and posted as DRM/Rajkot/ Western Railway vice Ashwani Kumar (IRSE).
31. Ashish Jain (IRSS), NFHAG/MCF, has been transferred and posted as DRM/ Varanasi/ North Eastern Railway vice Vineet Kumar Srivastava (IRSE).
32. Santosh Kumar Verma (IRSS), NFHAG, presently on deputation with Department of Consumer Affairs, should be posted as DRM/Hyderabad/South Central Railway vice Lokesh Vishnoi (IRSSE).
