Indevar Pandey gets addl. charge of Secretary, Ministry of Mines

Indevar Pandey (IAS:1988:WB), Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Welfare, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Ministry of Mines. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (20.04.2023), the competent authority has approved the assignment of the additional charge of the post to Pandey after Mukhmeet Singh Bhatia (IAS:1990:JH) relinquished it. Bhatia was shifted to the National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (NACWC) as Chairperson in a major bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the center on Thursday.

Pandey will hold the charge of the post till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
