The central deputation tenure of Dharmendra Sharma (IAS:1988:AGMUT) as Director General (DG), India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) has been extended till 30.09.2023 i.e. the date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier. It may be underlined that DG (Training) in Election Commission of India was upgraded and re-designated as DG, IIIDEM.
Further, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved re-employment of Dharmendra Sharma as DG, IIIDEM in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary to the Government of India on contract basis for a period of one year beyond the date of his superannuation i.e. 01.10.2023 to 30.09.2024.
