Prof. Balram Bhargava has been given extension in the services as Director General (DG), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)-cum- Secretary, Department of Health Research for a period of three months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (11.04.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension in services of Bhargava for a further period of three months beyond 15.04.2022 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
