IAS Officer Dr. Vibha Chahal (IAS:2012:UP) has been appointed as Private Secretary to Sobha Karandlaje, Minister of State for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Land & Employment. She will serve as Private Secretary in the Ministry of MSME.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (05.07.2024), the competent authority approved the proposal to appoint Vibha Chahal to the post of Private Secretary, effective from the date he assumes charge.
Her tenure will last until June 07, 2027, for the balance period of five year deputation tenure as Private Secretary, or on a co-terminus basis, or until she ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Previously, in May 2022, she was appointed as the Private Secretary to Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar, Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, for a period of five years.
