The central deputation tenure of Shantanu (IAS:1997:TR) as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) has been extended. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (18.07.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of DoNER to extend the deputation tenure of Shantanu for a combined tenure of seven years upto 27.03.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
