A unique three-day Service Meet of IAS officers is being organised in Madhya Pradesh’s capital city of Bhopal. State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated it on Friday. While lauding the role played by the IAS officers in strengthening the country, Yadav said our officers are working tirelessly to translate our vision into a reality.
IAS officers from across the state, from assistant collectors to the chief secretary, as well as retired IAS officers and their family members, are gathering in Bhopal to participate in the meet. This meet, started in 2010, has been a unique attraction for officers, as they get an opportunity to showcase their art and talent beyond their administrative duties.
During the three-day meet, a number of cultural and entertainment programs will be held at Arera Club that will go on throughout the day and late into the night.
Four houses, named as Red House, Green House, Blue House and Yellow House, have been created, with each house having a captain and a vice captain.
The awards will be given to participants for Most Creative, Best Presentation, Best Entertainment Value and Best Coordination. Additionally, Best Child Artist and Best Senior Artist awards will be given in each house to children under 18 years of age of IAS officers.
Awards will be given in four categories on the last day of the meet, on Dec 21.
