IAS officer Ravi Mittal (IAS:2016:CG) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) for a period of four years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (March 19, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved his appointment for a tenure of four years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Presently, he is serving in his cadre as Commissioner, Public Relations in Chhattisgarh.
