IAS officer Pankaj Dixit (IAS:2011:BH) has been appointed as Private Secretary (PS) to Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (I/C) for M/o Science and Technology and M/o Earth Sciences; Minister of State for Prime Minister’s Office, M/o Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, D/o Atomic Energy and D/o Space. His appointment as PS is done in the M/o Personnel, Public Grievances and Pension for five years. He will assume his role at the level of Deputy Secretary.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (03.07.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the proposal to appoint Pankaj Dixit to the post of Private Secretary, effective from the date he assumes charge or on a co-terminus basis, or until he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
