Senthil Pandian C. (IAS:2002:UP) has been appointed to the post of Ambassador/Permanent Representative at the Permanent Mission of India (PMI) to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva under the Department of Commerce. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Friday (05.01.2024), stating that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Mr. Pandian’s appointment to the position for a duration of three years from the date he assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He will succeed Brajendra Navnit (IAS:1999:TN) upon the completion of Mr. Navnit’s approved tenure on 31.03.2024.
