Santanu Kumar Agrahari (IAS:2012:JH) has been appointed as Private Secretary to V Somanna, Minister of State for Jal Shakti & Railways. His appointment specially pertains to Ministry of Railways.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (16.11.2024), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Agrahari for the period upto 28.11.2026 or co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
He will assume of the post at Deputy Secretary level.
