IAS officer Mahatme Sandeep Namdeo (IAS:2010:TR) has been appointed to the post of Private Secretary to Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Minister for Panchayat Raj and Fisheries, Animal Husbandary & Dairying. His appointment is specially pertains to Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying. He will assume the post at Deputy Secretary level.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (05.08.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Namdeo to the post of Private Secretary for the period upto 09.05.2026 (i.e. for the balance period of his five years central deputation tenure) or on co-terminus basis or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
