Kapil Meena (IAS:2010:SK), who currently holds the position of Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Cooperation, has been re-designated as Director within the same Ministry. The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued an order on Monday (29.01.2024), announcing the approval of the competent authority for the re-designation proposed by the Ministry of Cooperation. The re-designation is sanctioned for a period extending up to 17.01.2027, encompassing a total tenure of five years under the central staffing scheme.
It is worth noting that Kapil Meena commenced his central deputation tenure on January 18, 2022.
