IAS officer Arindam Chaudhary (IAS:2014:HP) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Steel, Delhi, for a period of four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (March 20, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment to the post under the central staffing scheme for four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Presently he is serving in the cadre as Director (Personnel and Finance), Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL).
