The Himachal Pradesh government on Tuesday (19.03.2024) implemented a minor reshuffle in the state bureaucracy. One IAS officer was assigned additional charge, while another was relieved of the additional charge.
The names of the officers and their posting are as follows;
- Onkar Chand Sharma (IAS:1994:HP), Additional Chief Secretary (ACS)-cum Financial Commissioner, Revenue with additional charge of ACS of Tribal Development and Jal Shakti Vibhag and Chairman, HP State Pollution Control Board, Shimla, shall also hold the additional charge of the post of ACS, Home and Vigilance.
- Rakesh Kanwar (IAS:2007:HP), Secretary, Education, Animal Husbandry and Language, Art & Culture with additional charge of Secretary, Information & Public Relations, SAD, GAD and SWD and Parliamentary Affairs and Secretary to Chief Minister, has been given relieved of the charge of Secretary, GAD.
