HP: Four IPS officers shifted, Bimal Gupta is now IG, Welfare and Administration

The Himachal Pradesh Government on Monday (04.03.2024) issued an order of transfer and posting of four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Bimal Gupta (IPS:2006:HP), Inspector-General (IG), State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (SV & ACB), Shimla, has been transferred and posted as IG, Welfare and Administration, at Police Headquarters in Shimla.
2. Anupam Sharma (IPS:2009:HP), Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Welfare & Administration, Shimla, has been transferred to the post of DIG, Prisons, in Shimla.
3. Rahul Nath (IPS:2010:HP), waiting for posting orders, has been posted as DIG, SV & ACB, Shimla.
4. Ranjana Chauhan (IPS:2010:HP), waiting for posting orders, DIG, Law and Order, Shimla.
