The Modi government on Thursday given one-year extension to Home Secretary Ashok Kumar Bhalla (IAS:1984:AM). In an order, the Ministry of Personnel said that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension in service to Bhalla as Home Secretary for a further period of one-year beyond 22.08.2021.
