Himachal Pradesh: Ram Subhag Singh appointed as Principal Advisor to CM

The Himachal Pradesh government has appointed IAS officer Ram Subhag Singh (IAS:1987:HP) as the Principal Adviser to Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu for a one-year term. The appointment was made on July 31, 2023, which coincided with Ram Subhag Singh’s retirement from the civil service. His role as the Principal Adviser started on August 1, 2023.

According to the appointment order, Ram Subhag Singh will serve as the Principal Adviser to the Chief Minister and provide guidance on policy matters related to the Power Sector and strategies to enhance Milk Production and its procurement.
