Himachal Pradesh police has booked a former IAS officer of the state, Deepak Shanan (Retd. IAS:1982:HP), along with his family and friends, for travelling amid the lockdown.
Police stopped their two vehicles in Sunni tehsil in Shimla district on Wednesday and found them travelling without permission.
According to police, they were travelling in the Shali Tibba temple area, 35 km from the state capital Shimla.
Their two vehicles were seized and FIR was lodged against eight persons including Shanan.
