Himachal Pradesh: 8 IAS officers shifted, CM Secretary Abhishek Jain gets Home & Vigilance

The Himachal Pradesh government on Monday (31.07.2023) carried out a significant bureaucratic reshuffle by transferring a total of 8 IAS officers across the state to strengthen and streamline the state administrative machinery.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Onkar Chand Sharma (IAS:1994:HP), Principal Secretary-cum-FC, Revenue with additional charges of Principal Secretary, Tribal Development and Forest, has been given additional charge of Principal Secretary, Jal Shakti Vibhag.
2. Dr. Amandeep Garg (IAS:1999:HP), Secretary, Personnel, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Forest, relieving Onkar Chand Sharma (IAS:1994:HP) from this additional charge.
3. Abhishek Jain (IAS:2002:HP), Secretary, Education, and Information Technology with additional charges of Secretary, Technical Education and Secretary to Chief Minister, shall also hold the additional charge of Secretary, Home & Vigilance Departments relieving Bharat Harbanslal Khera (IAS:1995:HP) of these charges.
4. C Paulrasu (IAS:2003:HP), Secretary, AR, Training & FA and RPG with additional charge of Secretary, Cooperation, shall also hold the additional charge of Secretary, Horticulture.
5. Kadam Sandeep Vasant (IAS:2008:HP), Divisional Commissioner, Shimla Division, Shimla with additional charge of Director, Horticulture, shall also hold the additional charge of Registrar, Cooperative Societies, relieving Rajesh Sharma (IAS:2008:HP) of this charge.
6. Chander Prakash Verma (IAS:2010:HP), Special Secretary, Revenue with additional charges of Commissioner, Departmental Enquiries, Shimla and Special Secretary, Forest, shall also hold the additional charge of Special Secretary, Industries, relieving Ms. Kiran Bhadana (IAS:2017:HP) of the charge.
7. Manesh Kumar (IAS:2018:HP), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Sirmaur at Nahan, Sirmaur District, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Finance with additional charge of Director, State Audit Department relieving Amarjeet Singh (IAS:2010:HP).
8. Naveen Thakur (IAS:2019:HP), Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Kangra, Kangra District, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-Project Director (DRDA), ITDP, Bharmour, Chamba District.
