Himachal Pradesh: 3 DCs among 17 IAS officers transferred

The Himachal Pradesh government on Sunday (27.04.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for 17 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers with immediate effect. The reshuffle includes the transfer of three District Collectors — Lahaul & Spiti, Bilaspur, and Sirmaur.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Dr. Nipun Jindal (IAS:2014:HP), Director, Ayush, Shimla, with additional charge of the posts of Director, Digital Technologies and Governance, Shimla and Managing Director, HRTC, Shimla, has been transferred and posted as Director/ Digital Technologies and Governance, Shimla. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of Managing Director, HRTC, Shimla.
2. Abid Hussain Sadiq (IAS:2014:HP), Deputy Commissioner, District Bilaspur, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd..
3. Rohit Jamwal (IAS:2014:HP), Director, Public Finance & Public Enterprises-cum-Special Secretary, Finance with additiooial charge of the posts of Director, Treasuries, Accounts & Lotteries, Shimla and Managing Director, Financial Corp., Shimla, has been transferred and posted as Director, Ayush.
4. Pradeep Kumar Thakur (IAS:2014:HP), Settlement Officer, Shimla Division, Shimla, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, National Health Mission, Shimla.
5. Priyanka Verma (IAS:2015:HP), Mission Director, National Health Mission, Shimla, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, District Sirmaur at Nahan.
6. Rima Kashyap (IAS:2015:HP), Managing Director, HP Agro Industries Corporation Ltd., Shimla, with additional charge of the post of Managing Director, HP Agro Industrial Packaging India Ltd., Shimla, has been transferred and posted as Director, Language Art and Culture and Secretary, HP Academy of Art Culture & Language, Shimla.
7. Sumit Khimta (IAS:2015:HP), Deputy Commissioner, District Sirmaur at Nahan, has been transferred and posted as Director, Department of Empowerment of SCs, OBCs, Minorities and Specially Abled, Shimla.
8. Rahul Kumar (IAS:2016:HP), Deputy Commissioner, District Lahaul & Spiti at Keylong, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, District Bilaspur.
9. Zaffar Iqbal (IAS:2017:HP), Commissioner, Dharamshala Municipal Corporation, Dharamshala, District Kangra, with additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer-cum-Managing Director, Dharamshala Smart City Ltd., Dharamshala, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd., Dharamshala
10. Kiran Bhadana (IAS:2016:HP), Director, Department of Empowerment of SCs, OBCs, Minorities and Specially Abled, Shimla, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, District Lahaul & Spiti at Keylong.
11. Dr. Pankaj Lalit (IAS:2018:HP), Director, Language, Art and Culture, Shimla, with additional charge of the post of Secretary, HP Academy of Art, Culture & Language, Shimla and Director, Women & Child Development, Shimla shall, has been transferred and posted Director, Women and Child Development, Shimla.
12. Ritika (IAS:2019:HP), Director, Land Records, Shimla, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Dharamshala Municipal Corporation, Dharamshala, District Kangra with additional charge of the post of Chief Executive Officer-cum-Managing Director, Dharamshala Smart City Ltd., Dharamshala.
13. Om Kant Thakur (IAS:2020:HP), Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Mandi, District Mandi, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev.)-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Bilaspur.
14. Abhishek Kumar Garg (IAS:2020:HP), Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Bilaspur, District Bilaspur, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev. )-cum-Project Director (DRDA), Hamirpur with additional charge of the post of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Hamirpur.
15. Vijay Wardhan (IAS:2021:HP), who is awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Secretary, HP Board of School Education, Dharamshala, District Kangra.
16. Rupinder Kaur (IAS:2021:HP), who is awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Mandi, District Mandi.
17. Rajdeep Singh (IAS:2021:HP), who is awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Sub Divisional Officer (Civil), Bilaspur, District Bilaspur.
