Himachal Pradesh : 26 IPS officers shifted, 8 Districts get new SPs

In a major reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred 26 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including eight Superintendents of Police (SPs) besides giving posting to five probationer IPS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Vimukt Ranjan (IPS:2009:HP) : commandant, 1st Indian Reserve Battalion, Bangarh, Una district
  2. Khushal Chand Sharma (IPS:2012:HP) : SP, Kangra.
  3. Mohit Chawla (IPS:2010:HP) : SP, Baddi.
  4. Virender Singh Tomar (IPS:2009:HP) : Commandant, 5th Indian Reserve Battalion, Bassi, Bilaspur.
  5. Monika Bhutunguru (IPS:2014:HP) : SP, Shimla.
  6. Ranjana Chauhan (IPS:2010:HP) : SP, Lokayukta, Shimla.
  7. Anjum Ara (IPS:2011:HP) : SP, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, (SV-ACB), Southern Range, Shimla.
  8. Omapati Jamwal (IPS:2011:HP) : SP, Sirmaur.
  9. Rohit Malpani (IPS:2012:HP) : SP (cyber crime), CID, Shimla
  10. Diwakar Sharma (IPS:2012:HP) : SP, Police Training College (PTC), Daroh.
  11. Gaurav Singh (IPS:2013:HP) : SP (economic offences wing), CID, Shimla.
  12. Sakshi Verma (IPS:2014:HP) : AIGP, PHQ, Shimla.
  13. Karthikeyan Gokulachandran (IPS:2014:HP) : SP, SIU (SV-ACB), Shimla
  14. Abhishek Yadav (IPS:2015:HP) : Commandant, HP Armed Police, Junga.
  15. Akriti (IPS:2016:HP) : SP, Hamirpur.
