The Delhi High Court has rejected a plea seeking to shut down those public sector undertakings (PSU) which are dealing with the non-essential services during the entire lockdown period.
The court said “It is not for us to pronounce thereupon. We do not formulate governmental policy,”
The petitioner had submitted that the orders/ circular, issued by the SAIL, NBCC and the Railway Board, directly violated the order issued by the MHA on 15th April 2020, and breached the lockdown.
