Haryana transfers 20 IAS officers in major bureaucratic reshuffle

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Haryana government on Sunday (November 30, 2025) issued transfer and posting orders for 20 IAS officers. The wide-ranging exercise covers both departmental roles and district-level responsibilities.

As part of this reshuffle, the state government has transferred the Deputy Commissioners of Yamunanagar, Kaithal, Faridabad, and Hisar, and appointed new officers to lead the administration in these four key districts.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Arun Kumar Gupta (IAS:1992:HY), Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department and Member Secretary, Kurukshetra Development Board.
2. Vijay Singh Dahiya (IAS:2001:HY), Commissioner & Secretary, Printing & Stationery Department and Commissioner & Secretary, Animal Husbandry Department has been given additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Sports Department.
3. Amit Kumar Agrawal (IAS:2003:HY), Commissioner & Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department and Commissioner & Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department, has been given additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Heritage & Tourism Department.
4. Dhool Chand Meena (IAS:2004:HY), Commissioner & Secretary, Human Resources Department and Commissioner & Secretary, General Administration Department, has been given additional charge of Chief Executive Officer, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Gurugram.
5. J Ganesan (IAS:2006:HY), Chief Executive Officer, Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority, Faridabad; Chief Executive Officer, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Gurugram (designate); Director General, Housing for All, and Secretary, Housing for All Department; Chief Administrator, Housing Board; Chief Executive Officer, Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), under Haryana Atal Development Project (HAIDP) and Haryana Clean Air Project–Sustainable Development (HCAPSD); and other externally-aided Projects, has been relieved of the charge of Chief Executive Officer, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Gurugram (designate) and given charge two more charges as Managing Director, HARTRON; and Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited.
6. Ashok Kumar Meena (IAS:2006:HY), Director General, Development & Panchayat and Secretary, Development & Panchayats Department, has been transferred and posted as Director General, Urban Local Bodies and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department; Mission Director, State Urban Livelihood Mission and State Urban Development Authority; and Director General, Foreign Cooperation Department.
7. Ravi Prakash Gupta (IAS:2007:HY), Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Hisar Division, Hisar.
8. Pankaj (IAS:2009:HY), Director General, Urban Local Bodies, and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department; Mission Director, State Urban Livelihood Mission and State Urban Development Authority; and Director, Supplies & Disposals, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs Department and Director Training (Ex-Officio); Inquiry Officer, Vigilance; and Director General, Supplies and Disposals.
9. Dr. Aditya Dahiya (IAS:2011:HY), Special Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs Department, Director Training (Ex-Officio); Inquiry Officer, Vigilance; Director, Department of Future; and Director, New & Renewable Energy, and Special Secretary, New and Renewable Energy Department, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation; Managing Director, Haryana Financial Corporation; and Director, Department of Future.
10. Pardeep Kumar (IAS:2011:HY), Member Secretary, Haryana State Pollution Control Board, has been transferred and posted as Director, State Transport and Special Secretary, Transport Department.
11. Amna Tasneem (IAS:2012:HY), Director, Foreign Cooperation Department, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Home Department.
12. Parth Gupta (IAS:2013:HY), Deputy Commissioner, Yamunanagar, has been transferred and posted as Director, Sports, and Special Secretary, Sports Department; Director, Tourism, and Special Secretary , Tourism Department; and Managing Director, Haryana Tourism Corporation Limited.
13. Sangeeta Tetarwal (IAS:2013:HY), Chief Executive Officer, Ayushman Bharat Haryana Health Protection Authority, has been transferred and posted as Director, New & Renewable Energy, and Special Secretary, New and Renewable Energy Department; and Secretary, Haryana State Commission for Schedule Castes.
14. Anish Yadav (IAS:2014:HY), Special Secretary, Grievances Department and Deputy Commissioner, Hisar, has been transferred as
    Director, Development & Panchayats, and Special Secretary, Development & Panchayats Department.
15. Vikram (IAS:2014:HY), Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited.
16. Preeti (IAS:2015:HY), Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Yamunanagar.
17. Mahender Pal (IAS:2017:HY), Managing Director, HARTRON and Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Hisar.
18. Ayush Sinha (IAS:2018:HY), Deputy Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Manesar, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad.
19. Aparajita (IAS:2018:HY), Mission Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban), has been posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kaithal.
20. Pradeep Singh (IAS:2020:HY), Additional Deputy Commissioner–cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Nuh and CEO, Zila Parishad, Nuh and CEO, DRDA, Nuh, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Manesar.
