In an unexpected turn of events, the Haryana government on Friday night put on hold its earlier decision to appoint former senior IAS officer Rajesh Khullar (Retd. IAS:1988:HY) as Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, with the rank and status of a cabinet minister.
Khullar’s appointment was initially announced on Friday. However, just a few hours later, Chief Secretary T V S N Prasad (IAS:1988:HY) issued a follow-up order stating that the appointment has been “kept in abeyance till further orders.”
