Haryana govt transfers 17 IAS, 7 HCS officers; Pradeep Dahiya is back as Gurugram Municipal Commissioner

Chandigarh: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Haryana Government on Friday (August 7, 2026) transferred 17 IAS and 7 HCS officers. The highlight of the exercise was the return of Pradeep Dahiya (IAS:2013:HY) to the post of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Gurugram (MCG), just a day after he was transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. G Anupama (IAS:1991:HY), Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes and Antyodaya (SEWA) Department and Additional Chief Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, has been given additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department.
2. C G Rajini Kaanthan (IAS:2004:HY), Commissioner & Secretary, Finance Department; Secretary, Central Committee of Examinations; and Commissioner & Secretary, Mines & Geology Department, has been given the charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Medical Education & Research Department. He has been relieved of the charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Mines & Geology Department but continue as Commissioner & Secretary, Finance Department; and Secretary, Central Committee of Examinations.
3. Khetmalis Makrand Pandurang (IAS:2007:HY), CEO, Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority; Director General, Mines & Geology; Secretary, Mines & Geology Department; Director General, Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture; Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture Department; and Director General, Art and Cultural Affairs, has been posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture Department; Commissioner & Secretary, Mines & Geology Department, and will continue as CEO, Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority. He has been relieved of the charge of Director General, Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture.
4. Dusmanta Kumar Behera (IAS:2007:HY), Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Human Resources Department; and Commissioner & Secretary, General Administration Department.
5. Rajiv Rattan (IAS:2008:HY), Commissioner, Karnal Division, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Personnel, Training & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Director Training (Ex-Officio), Inquiry Officer, Vigilance Haryana, and Director General, Supplies & Disposals.
6. Pankaj (IAS:2009:HY), Secretary, Personnel, Training & Parliamentary Affairs Department; Director Training (Ex-Officio); Inquiry Officer, Vigilance ; and Director General, Supplies & Disposals, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission and Managing Director, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited (HPGCL).
7. Prabhjot Singh (IAS:2010:HY), Director General, Environment and Secretary, Environment, Forests & Wildlife Department, has been given additional charge of Commissioner, Transport and Secretary, Transport Department.
8. Hema Sharma (IAS:2010:HY), Chief Settlement Commissioner and Secretary, Revenue & Disaster Management Department, has been posted as Commissioner, Karnal Division.
9. Dr Aditya Dahiya (IAS:2011:HY), Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited; Director, Department of Future ; and Managing Director, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as Director, Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture and Special Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages & Culture Department; and Director, Art & Cultural Affairs. He will continue as Managing Director, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited and Director, Department of Future.
10. Yashendra Singh (IAS:2011:HY), Director, Medical Education & Research and Special Secretary, Medical Education & Research Department, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad and Chief Executive Officer, Faridabad Smart City Limited.
11. Dhirendra Khadgata (IAS:2012:HY), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad and CEO, Faridabad Smart City Limited, has been transferred and posted as Director, Medical Education & Research and Special Secretary, Medical Education & Research Department; and Director, State Transport.
12. Pradeep Dahiya (IAS:2013:HY), Deputy Commissioner, Rohtak (Designate), has been posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Gurugram and District Municipal Commissioner, Gurugram.
13. Pratima Chaudhary (IAS:2013:HY), Special Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department and Additional Controller, Civil Defence, Ambala, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Department; Member Secretary, Haryana State Commission for Women; and Managing Director, Haryana Women Development Corporation Limited.
14. Sachin Gupta (IAS:2018:HY), Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, has been given additional charge of Additional Controller, Civil Defence, Ambala, relieving Pratima Chaudhary (IAS:2013:HY).
15. Renu Sogan (IAS:2019:HY), awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as Additional Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department.
16. Samwartak Singh Khangwal (IAS:2019:HY), Additional Secretary, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Department and Director, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, has been given additional charge of Director, Mines & Geology and Additional Secretary, Mines & Geology Department.
17. Vivek Arya (IAS:2021:HY), Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Kurukshetra, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Panchkula; CEO, Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, Panchkula; and CEO, Zila Parishad, Panchkula-cum-CEO, DRDA, Panchkula.
18. Yogesh Kumar Mehta (HCS:2004), Secretary, State Police Complaint Authority, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Haryana Traders Welfare Board.
19. Vijender Hooda (HCS:2013), Additional Director (Administration), AYUSH, has been transferred and posted as CEO, Zila Parishad, Charkhi Dadri-cum-CEO, DRDA, Charkhi Dadri.
20. Virender Chaudhary (HCS:2013), CEO, Zila Parishad, Kurukshetra-cum-CEO, DRDA, Kurukshetra, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Citizen Resources Information Officer, Kurukshetra.
21. Pankaj Kumar (HCS:2014), Chief Executive Officer, Kurukshetra Development Board, Kurukshetra; Additional Director, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana; and Joint Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Kurukshetra Development Board; CEO, Zila Parishad, Kurukshetra; and CEO, DRDA, Kurukshetra.
22. Suresh Kumar (HCS:2019), awaiting orders of posting, has been posted as City Magistrate, Charkhi Dadri.
23. Monika (HCS:2023), Joint Director, Department of Future, has been given additional charge of Joint Director (Administration and Mid-day Meals), Elementary Education.
24. Manjeet Kumar (HCS:2023), Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Rohtak, has been given additional charge of Estate Officer, HSVP, Rohtak and Land Acquisition Officer, Rohtak.
