Haryana govt transfers 9 IAS officers in fresh reshuffle

In a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, the Haryana government on Monday (October 27, 2025) issued transfer and posting orders for nine IAS officers.

Notably, just three days earlier, the state government had assigned additional responsibilities to three IAS officers as part of an administrative adjustment exercise.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Shyamal Mishra (IAS:1996:HY), Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, New Delhi; CEO, Faridabad and CEO, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Gurugram, has been transferred and posted as Chief Administrator, Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, New Delhi and Principal Secretary, Energy Department.
2. J Ganesan (IAS:2006:HY), MD, HARTRON; DG/Secretary, Housing for All Department; Chief Administrator, Housing Board; Managing Director, Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited; CEO, Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for Haryana AI Development Project (HAIDP) and Haryana Clean Air Project for Sustainable Development (HCAPSD) and other Externally-aided Projects, has been transferred and posted CEO, Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority Faridabad; CEO, Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority, Gurugram; DG/Secretary, Housing for All Department; Chief Administrator, Housing Board; CEO, Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for Haryana AI Development Project (HAIDP) and Haryana Clean Air Project for Sustainable Development (HCAPSD) and other Externally-aided Projects.
3. Ashok Kumar Meena (IAS:2006:HY), MD, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited and Secretary, Energy Department, has been transferred and posted as Director General/Secretary, Development & Panchayats Department.
4. Dusmanta Kumar Behera (IAS:2007:HY), Secretary, Governor and Director/Secretary, Development & Panchayats Department, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Governor and Labour Commissioner and Secretary, Labour Department.
5. Mani Ram Sharma (IAS:2009:HY), Labour Commissioner; Secretary, Labour Department and Secretary, Home Department, has been transferred and posted as MD, Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited; Secretary, Energy Department and Secretary, Home Department.
6. Dr Aditya Dahiya (IAS:2011:HY), Special Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs Department; Director, Training (Ex-Officio), Inquiry Officer, Vigilance and Director, Department of Future, has been given additional charge of Director/Special Secretary, New & Renewable Energy Department.
7. Mahender Pal (IAS:2017:HY), Special Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department; Additional Director, Mines & Geology; Secretary, Haryana State Commission for Scheduled Castes and Registrar, Cooperative Societies, has been transferred and posted as MD, HARTRON and MD, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited.
8. Amar Deep Singh (IAS:2017:HY), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as Registrar, Cooperative Societies.
9. Varsha Khangwal (IAS:2018:HY), Additional Director (Admn.) Information, Public Relations & Languages, has been given additional charge of Additional Secretary, Vigilance Department.
