Haryana government transfers 18 IPS and 4 HPS officers in major police reshuffle

The Haryana government on Thursday (March 19, 2026) carried out changes in the police administration, assigning new responsibilities to 18 IPS officers and 4 HPS officers. As part of the reshuffle, several officers have been given fresh postings, while a few have also been promoted and posted accordingly.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Kala Ramachandran (IPS:1994:HY), Director, Haryana Police Academy (HPA), Madhuban, has been given additional charge of Director, Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), Madhuban, Karnal.
2. Sanjay Kumar (IPS:1997:HY), ADGP, Law & Order and ADGP, State Crime Branch, has been given additional charge of ADGP, Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau, Karnal (HSNCB).
3. Sibash Kabiraj (IPS:1999:HY), Commissioner of Police, Panchkula and holding additional charge of IG, Cyber and Director SCRB, has been promoted and will continue as Commissioner of Police, Panchkula, with additional charge of ADGP, Cyber and Director, SCRB, Haryana.
4. Rajshree Singh (IPS:1999:HY), Commissioner of Police, Jhajjar, has been promoted and will continue as Commissioner of Police, Jhajjar in the rank of ADGP.
5. Abhishek Jorwal (IPS:2011:HY), DCP (HQ), Faridabad, has been promoted and posted as DIG, Law & Order, PHQ, Panchkula.
6. Rajender Kumar Meena (IPS:2011:HY), SP/Commando, Newal, Karnal, has been promoted and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Sonipat with additional charge of DCP (HQ), Sonipat.
7. Manbir Singh (IPS:2011:HY), SP/ERSS, has been promoted and posted as DIG, Police Training College (PTC), Sunaria, Rohtak.
8. Virender Vij (IPS:2011:HY), Commandant, 1st IRB Bhondsi with additional charge of SP, RTC, Bhondsi, has been promoted and posted as DIG, State Crime Branch, Panchkula.
9. Dheeraj Kumar (IPS:2013:HY), awaiting posting, has been posted as AIG, Training, PHQ, Panchkula.
10. Anshu Singla (IPS:2014:HY), SP, State Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau, has been posted as SP/RTC Bhondsi with additional charge of Commandant, 1st IRB Bhondsi, Gurugram.
11. Narendra Bijarnia (IPS:2015:HY), SP, Karnal, has been given additional charge of SP/Commando, Newal, Karnal.
12. Himadree Kaushik (IPS:2019:HY), awaiting posting, has been posted as DCP, Crime, Faridabad with additional charge of DCP (HQ), Faridabad.
13. Mayank Gupta (IPS:2019:HY), awaiting posting, has been posted as SP, Cyber, Panchkula.
14. Ms. Uttam (IPS:2022:HY), ASP, Ambala, has been promoted and posted as Additional SP, Hisar.
15. Faisal Khan (IPS:2022:HY), ASP, Sirsa, has been promoted and posted as Additional SP, Narnaul at Mahendragarh.
16. Ayush Yadav (IPS:2022:HY), ASP, Nuh, has been promoted and posted as Additional SP, Rohtak.
17. YVR Sashi Sekhar (IPS:2022:HY), ASP, Rohtak, has been promoted and posted as Additional SP, Nuh.
18. Kaanchi Singhal (IPS:2022:HY), ASP, Karnal, has been promoted and posted as Additional SP, Karnal.
19. Mukesh Kumar (HPS), DCP, Crime, Faridabad, has been posted as Commandant, 2nd HAP, Madhuban, Karnal.
20. Siddharth Dhanda (HPS), SP, Law & Order, PHQ, Panchkula, has been given additional charge of SP, ERSS, Panchkula.
21. Nupur Bishnoi (HPS), SP, ERSS and SP, Women Safety, has been transferred as SP, Women Safety at PHQ, Panchkula.
22. Jai Veer Rathi (HPS), DCP, Traffic, Faridabad, has been given additional charge of DCP, NIT Faridabad.
