Haryana CMO restructured; Rajesh Khullar now handles 16 departments

In a major CMO reshuffle, Rajesh Khullar gets 16 departments; Arun Gupta, Saket Kumar, Yash Pal and OSDs also allocated key responsibilities.

The Haryana government has recently restructured the administrative setup of the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), resulting in a significant reshuffle of departmental responsibilities. Chief Principal Secretary Rajesh Khullar (Retd. IAS:1988:HY), who earlier oversaw 21 departments, will now handle 16, with five departments reassigned to other senior officials.

Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Arun Kumar Gupta (IAS:1992:HY), has been given charge of 11 departments, while Additional Principal Secretary Saket Kumar (IAS:2005:HY) will oversee 9 departments. Deputy Principal Secretary Yash Pal (IAS:2011:HY) has been entrusted with 8 departments.

In addition, three Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) to the Chief Minister have also been allocated departmental responsibilities as part of this restructuring.
