The Haryana government on Friday (23.05.2025) appointed five individuals as State Information Commissioners. Their appointments will take effect following the oath-taking ceremony, which is expected to be held on May 26.
The newly appointed commissioners are:
- Amarjit Singh – retired Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officer
- Karamvir Saini – BJP leader
- Neeta Khera – former member of the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC)
- Priyanka – BJP leader
- Sanjay Madaan– Advocate
Though not officially confirmed, sources indicate that former Haryana Chief Secretary TVSN Prasad (Retd. IAS:1988:HY) has been selected as the next State Chief Information Commissioner.
