Haryana: 42 IPS officers shifted

In a major administrative reshuffle, the Haryana government on Monday (21.04.2025) transferred 42 IPS officers with immediate effect. The list includes several senior officers and Superintendents of Police across multiple districts. Additionally, transfer orders were issued for 13 officers of the Haryana Police Service (HPS), also with immediate effect.

The names of the officers and their names are as follows;

1. Mamta Singh (IPS:1996:HY), ADGP, Crime with additional charge of ADGP, Cyber (H), has been transferred and posted as ADGP, IRB, Bhondsi, Gurugram.
2. Dr. Matta Ravi Kiran (IPS:1996:HY), ADGP, Hisar Range, Hisar, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Karnal Range.
3. Krishnan Kumar Rao (IPS:1996:HY), ADGP, Rohtak Range, Rohtak, has been transferred and posted as ADGP, Hisar Range, Hisar.
4. Sibash Kabiraj (IPS:1999:HY), IGP, Ambala Range, Ambala Range with additional charge of IGP, SCRB & Cyber, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Panchkula with additional charge of IGP, SCRB & Cyber.
5. Dr. Rajshree Singh (IAS:1999:HY), IGP, Personnel, PHQ, Panchkula, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Police, Jhajjar.
6. Y Puran Kumar (IPS:2001:HY), IGP, Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Rohtak Range, Rohtak.
7. Rakesh Kumar Arya (IPS:2003:HY), IGP, Administration with additional charge of IGP, Law & Order & CP, Panchkula, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Law & Order, PHQ, Panchkula.
8. B Satheesh Balan (IPS:2003:HY), Commissioner of Police, Jhajjar with additional charge of IGP, IRB, Bhondsi.
9. Pankaj Nain (IPS:2007:HY), Special Officer (Community Policing & Outreach) in CMO and IGP, Security, CID (H), has been given additional charge of
   IGP, Ambala Range, Ambala.
10. Kuldeep Singh (IPS:2007:HY), IGP, Karnal Range, Karnal, has been transferred and posted as IGP, ACB, Panchkula and IGP, HESnB, Panchkula.
11. Sangeeta Kalia (IPS:2010:HY), DIG, IRB, Bhondasi, Gurugram, has been transferred and posted as Joint CP, Gurugram.
12. Manbir Singh (IPS:2011:HY), DCP, Hqrs, Sonipat, has been transferred and posted as SP, Bhiwani.
13. Virender Kumar (IPS:2011:HY), DCP, Traffic, Gurugram with additional charge of I/c Mirror Emergency Response Centre (MERC), has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 1st IRB, Bhondsi.
14. Sunil Kumar (IPS:2012:HY), awaiting posting orders, has been posted as SP, State Crime Branch.
15. Astha (IPS:2013:HY), SP, Fatehabad, has been transferred and posted as SP, Kaithal.
16. Lokender Singh (IPS:2014:HY), SP, Panipat, has been transferred and posted as SP, Security-I, CID (H) with additional charge of Commandant, 1st Battalion, HAP, Ambala.
17. Deepak Saharan (IPS:2014:HY), DCP, Hqrs, Jhajjar with additional charge of DCP, Crime, Jhajjar, has been transferred and posted as SP, HSEnB with additional charge of SP/HPUs Vigilance and SP/Cyber, Panchkula.
18. Vijay Pratap (IPS:2014:HY), SP, Nuh with additional charge of Commandant 2nd IRB, Bhondsi, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 3rd Sunaria with additional charge of Commandant Women Police Battalion, Sunaria.
19. Surender Bhoria (IPS:2014:HY), SP, Ambala, has been transferred and posted as SP, Yamunanagar.
20. Sumit Kumar (IPS:2014:HY), SP, Railways, Ambala, has been transferred and posted as Commandant 5th Battalion, HAP, Madhuban with additional charge of Commandant, 4th Battalion, HAP, Madhuban.
21. Rajesh Kalia (IPS:2014:HY), SP, Kaithal with additional charge of SP, SCB, has been transferred and posted as SP, Security, CID.
22. Rajesh Kumar (IPS:2014:HY), SP, Jind, has been transferred and posted as SP, Nuh.
23. Nikita Gahlaut (IPS:2014:HY), SP, SCRB with additional charge of SP, Telecom, has been transferred and posted as SP, SCRB and SP, Railways, Ambala.
24. Chander Mohan (IPS:2015:HY), SP, Palwal, has been transferred and posted as SP, Telecom.
25. Maqsood Ahmed (IPS:2016:HY), DCP, Crime, Faridabad, has been transferred and posted as DCP, NIT, Faridabad.
26. Rajiv Deswal (IPS:2016:HY), SP, Yamunanagar, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 2nd Battalion, HAP, Madhuban.
27. Varun Singla (IPS:2017:HY), SP, Kurukshetra, has been made SP, Palwal.
28. Nitish Agarwal (IPS:2017:HY), SP, Bhiwani, has been transferred and posted as SP, Kurukshetra.
29. Ajit Singh Shekhawat (IPS:2017:HY), SP, Security-I, CID with additional charge of Commandant 1st Batallion, HAP, Ambala, has been transferred and posted as SP, Ambala.
30. Vikrant Bhushan (IPS:2017:HY), SP, Sirsa, has been transferred and posted as SP, STF.
