H Shankar selected for appointment as MD, CPCL

H Shankar has been selected for appointment as Managing Director (MD), Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on January 31, 2025. Presently, he is serving as Director (Technical) with additional Charge of Managing Director, CPCL.

He will be appointed to the post of Managing Director after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
