Senior diplomat Godavarthi Venkata Srinivas (IFS: 1993) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman. Presently, he is serving as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Ministry of External Affairs and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
In a statement, the MEA said, “Shri Godavarthi Venkata Srinivas (IFS: 1993), presently Officer on Special Duty in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman.”
“He is expected to take up the assignment shortly,” the statement added.
